Synopsis: If there is one misconception that will not "stick" in the southern region, it definitely is hostility. When it comes to hospitality, there is none like southern hospitality and it can always be experienced in the city of Houston. "We are not only friendly but also a forgiving city. If you were to cut us off in traffic and display as simple friendly wave, we wave back with a smile." Frank Billinglsy of KPRC Channel 2 News said while being interviewed by Conscious Median. Though southern hospitality may have always been a home stay of Houston, Texas it just hasn't been enough to project Houston onto the world stage. When it comes to the energy sector or Houston's medical center's prestige there is a degree of recognition yet still unable to what the French Quarters did for the city of New Orleans, which was to make it a candidate city for tourism and short vacations. However just below the beautiful skyline lies a bustling social life and a vibrant, unique culture. Amazingly these elements of Houston remained hidden from international light, that is, until now.
